TICK, TICK DE-TICKING DOGS

Mom decided to de-tick the dogs, with the Bio-Spot. We have been getting Bio-Spot from the Drs. Foster and Smith catalog for years. It works really well, with our short, smooth hair Fox Terriers (photos somewhere in blog) although, they hate the stuff.

It has been since August, maybe even July since we put the Bio-Spot on the dogs.

Mom goes out the door, with one of the applicators, which is SMALL, I mean like maybe an inch long. Bonnie came a-trotting around the corner, saw the applicator that Mom had in her hand a hit the woods. Badger, same thing. Emily (who, as I have told ya'll before, we have several nicknames for so as Ga-Lumpher {because she is so clumsy} and Dippy {she is not bright}, started to run off and Mom called her and darn if she didn't stop. Hunkered down, did her hound dog thing and Mom caught her and de-ticked her. Badger eventually got caught, as he doesn't really have the energy or inclination to hide for long. Bonnie, though, eluded Mom until she went to sleep unsuspectingly on my bed. Then after her application, she hid under my bed. She is still there. I even called her a couple of times with treat-treats and no show from Bonnie. Mom has her skeeerit.

NEW SOCKS

This is the color of the new socks that I bought at Wal-Mart today, Fruit of the Loom. They are extremely soft, house socks or something or other. $2 bucks or so, I reccommend. They are SO soft and awesome. Oh and they come in different colors other than lime green.
