Thomas the Tank Engine and Deep Thoughts
Well, the kiddos had spring break last week and I was sick and had back issues, so Joey had moved his computer downstairs to help lighten my load . . . . well, Charleigh-Anne was watching PBS Kids Sprout, which was showing Thomas Tank Engine (Thomastankenengine, is what Joey called it when he was little.) We caught him watching it! LMAO!!! When confronted, he said, "Well, it does have a pretty interesting storyline" . . . . Aww gosh, that brought back so many memories . . . .the books, VHS tapes, etc. I miss him being little, but I am so glad that I get to relive it without the pressures that I had when Joey was a baby . . . there was so much turmoil in that poor little kid's life when he was young.I am so glad that although I am a single mom, right from the start, that the pressure is not as much as it was back then. Even though I had a lot of fun with Joey when he was a baby, there was also a lot of stress, which negated much of the enjoyment. Plus, Joey gets to see what kind of Mom I was with him when he was a baby, seeing me with Charleigh-Anne and saying, oh, we used to do this and we used to do that. So he doesn't think that I am all that bad of a mother.
