FIRST DAY OF CLASS

I am at the college right now! LOL I am inbetween classes right now and had some time to kill. The instructor for the Computer Science class was pretty cool. He said it would be the easiest class that we ever have here at the college. So, I have made a big decision. I am going to try to enroll in the Math 114 class (Intermediate Algebra) so that I can refresh my skills (I have already had it and made an "A") . That way next semester I can take the Math 115 class (College Algebra) that is required and will have completed my Math courses. I have already had the Math 121 (Statistics) and only need one more class to finish those up. I am afraid to just jump in and take the 115 class because I don't remember anything about using the TI-83 calculator. I don't remember a lot of other thing either but the calculator is the biggest obstacle. Everyone wish me luck in getting into the class because classes started this week and I should have already registered but didn't know what all was going to be involved in the Computer Class and didn't want to overwhelm myself! The records office is already closed for today, so I can't find out anything until Monday.

Here's luck to you!! Wish me luck that the thunderstorms vanish pronto tonto so that I can do some kind of hiking this weekend... so much for chancing the drive up to Watkin's Glen this weekend - looks like World's End State Park, Rickett's Glen and surrounding waterfalls.

Bastard weather. I haven't had good luck with weather since the shutout on the Colorado Plateau last May.

Googly Moogly!!!!!!

Words of college advice for computers - all you need is excel, powerpoint, word and access for most jobs. frontpage is nice to say that you know, but when are you going to build web pages for a job. Most computer classes I have had mirror your prof's statement.

They're a waste of time and money, but they're at least credits.
