Daylight Savings Time and Joey
Joey and I were in the kitchen last night, talking, while he was fixing himself the one meal he knows how to cook (besides microwaving a can of Chef-Boy-Ardee) Velveeta Shells and Cheese, with tuna mixed in it.Joey said, "I don't like this daylight savings time, it's not fair, they have taken an hour of sleep from me." I pointed out that technically, since he was born during DST (July 1990) that in October of that year, they gave him an EXTRA hour and then in the Spring, took it back and that made it even. So technically, he is even on his sleep time, he has not had an hour stolen.
Myself, would like to just stay on DST year-round. I miss the extra light in the evening hours less than I enjoy it in the morning hours. My kids catch the bus in the dark regardless. (That is one point of why we switch back that I have heard)
