My Back, My Surgery

I don't know if I will be able to type all of this. As you may know, I have injured my back again and ended up in the ER on Friday. I asked for an MRI twice, knowing that if something has changed, they would need to know before my surgery. They refused or rather, ignored my requests. So, on my pre-op visit to the neurosurgeon today, I told her what was going on and she said as I figured she would, this presents a problem. So here is where I am today:

1. If the doctor deems it necessary that I don't need an MRI, I will have surgery as scheduled.

2. If he deems it necessary that I have one and can't get one before Thursday, my surgery will be postponed, until I can get an MRI.

3. If he deems it necessary, can get me admitted tomorrow, have an MRI tomorrow, I can have surgery as scheduled.

As is, I CAN'T lift Charleigh-Anne, Mom is off from work helping with her and I don't know what I will do if I can't have my surgery. The nurse, Melisha, is supposed to call me in the morning. I am going to go ahead and get showered and pack a few things just in case the news is good. Personally, I think I need an MRI. I was right before and I really do think that something is wrong. Melisha told me to trust her, she would do her best to insure that this is pulled off on Thursday. She did her best before and against all odds got my surgery approved when it normally would have not been, because of my insurance. I am putting my faith in her.

If you are reading this, please pray for me.
