CHARLES AND BLANCHE WINCE'S 65TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY PARTY
Here are some pictures that I edited from my Grandma (Blanche) and Grandpa (Charles) Wince's 65th Wedding Anniversary that was held in Belmont, WV on May 27, 2006. It was organized and carried out mostly by my Aunt Carol, Aunt Judy and my cousin Teresa, who all did a tremendous job. Teresa's sisters, Melissa and Gina (also my cousins) also helped with some of the finishing touches and serving. My Aunt's Judy's boyfriend, Kenny, managed the kitchen and was a great help to my Aunts. My cousin Jeff's daughter Katie (Carol's granddaughter was also very helpful with the set up.My Mom (Judy, Charles Gary's wife) and my son Joey, along with Jeff's daughter Katie helped with watching Charleigh-Anne, so that I could take these photos.
My cousin Gina, flew in from Illinois. We were glad to see her as we don't get to see her nearly as often as would we like.
My Grandma's brother, June and his wife Doris were in attendence along with their family. My Grandpa's brothers, Harley with this wife Jean and Carl with his wife Joanne and their families were also in attendence. It was nice to see our extended family, some of which I hadn't seen in over 5 or more years.
There was a very nice collage that had pictures of all of my grandparents' children, my Dad, Charles Gary (after whom my baby's first name came), Carol, Judy and Terry and all of my Grandparent's great-grandchildren. I don't know why the grandchildren were left out, you'll have to ask Gina. (LOL)
Although some family members were not present, most of the family was in attendence. My cousin Chad and his wife Missy drove up from Charleston with their two girls, Harley-Jane and Emmy-Anne and Chad's mother and his sister also attended the event.
My cousins' Melissa, Gina and Teresa's father, Ronnie, along with their step-mother Chris, also attended the event.
The event was held at Cytec's employee park (my Uncle Bob, my Aunt Carol's husband is empoyed there) inside the building and thank goodness it was air-conditioned as it was a scorcher outside!! Some of the smaller kids (Austin, Hailey and Harley) went out to the small lake accompanied Mike, my cousin Teresa's husband. I trailed behind them and took some pictures and by the time I got back inside, I was dripping with sweat.
All and all, it was a great time and probably a once in a lifetime event for most that were there. Not a whole lot of people stay married for 50 years, let alone live long enough to celebrate 65 years with the majority of their family intact.

For those of you expecting an email with all the photos, I am still working on getting them ready to send out, some of them need tweaked (red-eye) and some photos I need to delete, because someone moved or some turned their heads (eh-um, Katie . . . although, you weren't the only one) and I am still in the process of going through all of them, rather than sending them all as I took 156 pictures. Those expecting a disc, hang tight . . . I have to do all of the editing so that they will be suitable for printing at Wal-Mart or where it is that you decide to take them if you want prints made. The ones on the disc should produce excellent quality 4"x6" and 5"x7" prints (and according to Digital Cameras for Dummies) good 8"x10" pictures although I have not yet tried it. The ones that I email, I am going to try to reduce the pixel size for easier viewing. If you did not ask for a disc and would like certain photos for reproducing, please let me know which ones and I will send the original size photos through email, which will produce quality prints.

65 years!! that's truly amazing... My parents are often an exception (36 years this year), let alone a couple that has gone 65 years - congratulations!!
Thanks! If father hadn't passed away, they would have celebrated their 40th in January. It is very often the exception. LOL
Oh, big huge congrats. They look so cute together!
Wow 65 years is a long time!
Sounds like a wonderful party.
