I HAVE REACHED A SIGNIFICANT MILESTONE (PLUS SOME DEAD ANIMALS)
Well, I finally did it. After returning from physical therapy today, in the 90 degree heat, I mowed Mom's yard and mine. It took me most of the day, with the frequent breaks, but my back doesn't hurt.I was mowing in front of the house, where the field starts and lo and behold! the dead coon reappeared in front of the mower. Thank God I stopped before I ran it over. (you have to understand also, that the front of the house has a walk-out basement, we come and go from the back door, therefore, no one knew it was there) All that is left is the hide, with some and the jaw bones. I also had to stop several times in various spots around the the yard to pick up the deer leg bones. At least they no longer smell so bad, like when the dogs carried them into the garage. Anyhow, Joey I guess will have to figure out something else to do with the coon remains.
I am glad that the mowing is done . . . it is lightening all around us and it needed to be done before it rains again. The bad part of the rain is that I still have 4 tomatos plants to plant and if I had finished the mowing earlier, I would have set them out this evening (I also have 8 pepper plants to set out) and wouldn't have had to worry about carrying water to them.
If I had my camera, I would have posted pictures of how nice the yard looked, but my friend Bridgette borrowed my camera yesterday and today, well, to make a real long story short, her boyfriend caught her at a stoplight with her ex-husband. It was a huge coincidence, she didn't know that he had left work to take his daughter to the doctor, according to him. I had been calling her all day . . . no wonder she didn't answer her phone, she wasn't there. It really didn't suprise me, I have been looking at other options for someone to watch Charleigh-Anne while I am at P/T, because I just knew that SOMETHING was up with her, I just didn't know what. Anyhow, Burke has my camera, so, I am getting it back tomorrow.

Great about being able to mow. YUCK about the bones, I mean that is sooooooo gross. I don't know what to say about your friend. I hope her bf wasn't too upset.
