AND THE WINNER IS . . . .

MR NOODLE (formal name Mr. Gordon Freeman Noodle with Noodle pronounced Mr. Nu-No)

The reason for the pronounciation follows . . . . this chickie at Life in West Virginia (em, ME) thought that Mr. Noodle's name was Mr. Nu-No and called him that for a few months. There was a discussion about the man who played Mr. Nu-No, Mom said she thought that the guy who played him had died of AIDS (and we thought there was only ONE Mr. Nu-No and found out later there are two of them . . . Mr. Nu-No and Mr. Nu-no's brother, Mr. Nu-No) and it was THEN that we discovered that there was no Mr. Nu-No at Sesame Street. His name is Mr. Noodle and Elmo being a pre-schooler cannot pronounce his name quite right. At the time, we always watched Sesame Street on Sprout and they tend to show the same episode over and over and they only had Mr. Noodle's brother Mr. Noodle, therefore, we had no clue there even was another Mr. Noodle and that the guy that we knew as Mr. Nu-No was actually Mr. Noodle's brother Mr. Noodle . . . . anyhow, since moving home, we have been watching Sesame Street on PBS and have seen the "other" Mr. Nu-No . . . DISHTV has no Sprout . . . .

There are a few more submissions that I posted, one from Old Man Crowder that is quite hilarious and his relative, the guy from Summit-Fever. They are cohorts of our friend Dan . . . if not for him, we wouldn't know these characters in Canada . . . . you can see all of their submissions for names in the previous post along with more friends like the winner of the contest, Melissa . . . .

After having the contest to name this new kitten, my son kidnapped him. This was his baby sister's belated birthday present and he has STOLEN the kitten. That is why his formal name is a hybrid . . . Joey wanted to name him Gordon Freeman but me and Mom really, really like Mr. Nu-No . . . . anyhow, the kitten is locked with my Flower in the Attic, Joey, in his "attic" where we put him when he gets home from school. LOL

Check back tomorrow for some dead animal stories . . . . .

Nu-No is a great name for the cat. You can say it in a really syrupy sweet voice as you pet him and tell him what a good boy he is.

Great choice!

At least you didn't go with the name from Pirates of the Crapibean that would have been WRONG, esp. if you won't name the cat after me.
