YOU KNOW THAT IT IS HOT WHEN . . .
the cows are in the creek. Not that they don't normally go in the creek anyway but when they are all laying around the edges and just standing in the creek not drinking, you know its hot.The heat is not hurting my morning glories, as they have grown a foot in the last few days. Mom's don't look quite as good as they are in containers and get pretty hot, especially with no water for a day or so. They started looking really droopy and yellowed so I did get outside to water them today along with some other things planted in various places around the house. The dogs are still doing okay but Bonnie snuck in the basement when I was putting the 4 wheeler away and refused to come out from her hiding spot. I don't blame her at all . . .
I got Charleigh-Anne a Corn Popper ride-along. She can push it or ride it. It is reminicent of the old Fisher-Price Corn Popper push thingies from my childhood. Except, it is bigger and more versatile. She likes it so far . . . what she can manage to do with it. LOL
