I AM GLAD THEY HAVE GOT OUR BACKS

over in the United Kingdom. Evidently, they were also working with our intelligence agencies which makes me feel safer than I did just a few days ago.

If you follow my blog, I linked a story from our local news about these guys that were pulled over by local authorities after buying a significant quantity of disposable cell phones at store in Marietta, OH (which is across the river). They were originally detained because they lied to authorities. After searching the car, authorities found $11,000 in cash and many of these disposable cell phones. After digging some more they found flight passenger information, information concerning private flights and manifests along with instructions for getting through security checkpoints at airports. Evidently the use for these phones is to remotely detonate bombs . . . like roadside bombs in Iraq . . . and evidently, some of the plans for detonating the bombs that were to be used on 10 flights from the UK bound for the US that was foiled today in the UK with 24 arrests. The disposable phones were listed as a possible source to ignite the peroxide-based bombs in addition to Ipods, disposable cameras and other MP-3 type players.

They have been charged with money laundering to aid terrorism. Their names are Ali Howssaiky and Osama Abulhassan and they are both 20 years old and from Michigan. Evidently, they thought that in a rural area, they might not arouse suspicion but unfortunately for them and fortunately for us, they stuck out like a sore thumb and aroused suspicion which led clerks to call the authorities. Thankfully, they lied to the authorities which led to their arrests and detainment in order to get more information that was in their possession, leading to the money laundering charges. Way to go Washington County (OH) Sheriff's Department!!

I found some more cheap plants at Lowe's and have planted them at my house, in preparation for my move home. Some of them I am going to plant in pots and keep over the winter, since they are annuals and I am pretty sure that they can be used as houseplants too. Begonias and Impatiens. They rest of them that I don't put in pots I am planting in various places around my house in my flowers beds, I just used some weed killer on weeds that came back up after clearing them out several weeks ago and can plant in those areas in 48 hours. . . . it is supposed to be cool this weekend which is nice and hopefully I can get the mowing done tomorrow. No, I haven't mowed yet and no, there is no hay growing in the yard . . . . yet. LOL To my defense, it has rained every night for the past three nights when it was cool enough that I could mow.
