OUR TEST RUN

Charleigh-Anne and I spent our first night away from MaMa since she was born. We spent the night at our house!! All by ourselves!!! We were excited, can you tell?!?!

Well, we have been wondering how C-A would react, spending the night away from the only home she has ever known, since we have always been at Mom's house. She did really well, with the help of at least one nighttime bottle. She awoke cooing and babbling and looking out the window at the mimosa tree. (Her crib is in the living room, under the window looking out to the mimosa tree . . . she can lay there and watch hummingbirds and butterflies flitter by while smelling the sweet smell of the mimosa) Of course, I spent a lot of time "wearing her out" by playing with her on the floor and my back is a bit stiff today, which may have also been caused by sleeping on the couch.

So, anyway, we came home about 7am . . .she had her morning bottle at 5am and I never went back to sleep, so after she awoke at 7am, we came on back to MaMa's and I went back to sleep after watching about an hour of "To Kill A Mockingbird" (yes, it is another Gregory Peck day for reasons unknown).

Now, MaMa and I are getting ready to go to Wal-Mart to grocery shop. As much as I may bitch about Wal-Mart, it is still the cheapest prices for food in our area and while I do buy a lot of stuff from the IGA, like all my meat and formula, chickensalad (they have the BEST) and bread and milk, I buy alot of my food from Wal-Mart. When its in stock. LMAO

I also MUST get my mowing done today. Wish me luck. It is 90 out now . . .

That would be quite the sweet scene to see CA in her crib dazzled by the humming birds. Sounds like an Anne Geddes picture.

Yes it would but only if:

a) I could sneak up on her without her turning to look at me

b) I could film the sweet smell of the mimosa blossoms

and

c) I filled her bed with the blossoms . . .

LOL Yea, if she didn't have impeccable hearing it would be a really precious photo . . . and to think my Mom thought she had a hearing problem 6 months ago. LOL
