SO ANYHOW ** . . .
**I had my comment moderation off, to make it easier to for my "friends" to post and suddenly, I have "new" friends who want me to buy shit. So, I am back to comment moderation, which is irritating because, if I don't check my email for a day or two, my comments back up.**I haven't heard the coyotes since last week. Oh, I think I forgot to tell ya'll about them. I was out stargazing last week and all of a sudden there was one coyote howling, then another, then a WHOLE chorus of them. They were so loud that Mom heard them though her closed window over her audiobook which she was listening to with headphones. They were really close to the house and I could hear them moving through the brush, down over the hill. They were on the opposite side of the house from where I heard them the last time. Anyhow, there is a definately a pack of them which makes me a little more than nervous about our pets being out after dark. It used to be highly unusual to even hear tale of them being around but they have become so commonplace, that it rarely startles me anymore.
Of course, I haven't been outside stargazing for over a week, so I haven't really had the opportunity to hear them as of recent.
**The heat has finally relented. Yesterday at the noon hour, it was 90 degrees yet today, it is a mere 76 degrees. That has not deterred the hummingbirds, who have been frequently fighting over the feeder. I have seen as many as 6 at a time, which is unusual . . . normally, we see no more than 3 at a time.
**The online course for which I was awaiting an opening had one and well, I am now officially registered for the class. For this course, I only must attend the first class and after that, the rest is done completely online. It is the Computer Science 101, which I might have been able to test out of but would like to have some additional training on Access, which I know nothing about.
**Football season has started. The Hall of Fame game is to be broadcast this weekend on NBC. It takes place in Canton, which is just a hop, skip and a jump away from my cousins' homes in OH. I would love to go sometime, if I knew the weather would cooperate. You can always put on more clothes in the winter but public decency laws prevent stripping down in public when its hot.
**Charleigh-Anne is 10 months old today!!!! Happy birthday Pun'kin Head!
