RAIN AND WV UMBRELLAS . . .
Okay, so we get a little bored when it rains on the farm. We are used to working and not being cooped up in the house like chickens in a chicken coop. Being on a farm, you frequently have things break down, you can't find a part or the right ingredient; it might be that I need ant repellent in my flower bed and I find that cornmeal works; run out of Miracle Grow?? Seep some manure in cheesecloth in a 5-gallon bucket of water for a tea to use as a fertilizer (just make sure its not too strong or it will burn the roots!) Well, that means that you have to be inventive to find a quick fix or solution and that is what my darling Kim is, is inventive. This obviously is just playing around, in the rain like the kid at heart that he is.
STUPID, STUPID, STUPID+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Rewind to yesterday . . . . Tracey pulled a stupid and to make a long story really short I fell w/ladder about 7 foot and managed to walk away with a really bad sprained ankle. I actually walked on it fairly well for about 2 hours but knew that since it was hurting so bad and I am still on pain meds for my back that I had done something to it. When I couldn't put any weight on it I knew I would have to get a x-ray. I called about midnight and they had 1 person waiting so I went and THANK THE LORD JESUS CHRIST it was not broken. Mom has to have surgery on her shoulder and well, a dumbass accident from me like this would certainly have added a lot of pressure since I am supposed to help with some things at her house and help her and a broken ankle would throw a wrench in me helping her after her surgery! I am such a dumb ass. Anyway, its just sprained, I wasn't drinking so, at least I don't have that to beat myself up over and God was watching over me.
Little Girls Growing Up+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
After the ladder incident, I went to Mom's and had to load up some things I had left and Punkin had her umbrella outside using it. She wanted to help me and hold it over my head but that would be kinda tricky. Especially with me carrying a little plastic container of peat pots w/starts and a 5-gallon bucket with starter mix and my tools and plastic containers. I could hardly bend over with my back like it is; poor Punkin is just around a bunch of old people who can't do much with her. She will start pre-school in the Fall though and I hope that she will get along okay. I am going to start talking to her about it now. We have nurtured her along and now its time to share her with the Big World. I don't want to yet, but its only for 6 hours a week, so, I think I can handle it.
Physical Therapy++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
P/T was going well up until this happened. I had just started on 3 new exercises that called for me to use my legs in some way standing on them, leg presses and then a stairclimber that is horizontal that you sit down at. So, Ron, is probably going to be less than happy with me on Wednesday.
Well, everybody take care, don't forget to leave comments at the end of this blog posting where it says "what ya'll said"!!!!
